Christy Bol's experience with decorative concrete and Colorado Hardscapes dates back to 1994 when she began with the company. Her experience encompasses all aspects of a project from estimating through construction to final close-out. Christy specializes in working with general contractors and custom home builders.
As Vice President and Sales Manager for Colorado Hardscapes, John Buteyn oversees several aspects of decorative concrete construction. His experience with Colorado Hardscapes over the years seasoned him into an expert in the industry and a valuable asset for the team. His knowledge, experience, and desire for innovation and quality drives the sales team at Colorado Hardscapes to pursue excellence in every project.
Torrey DeMasters joined Colorado Hardscapes' team in 2014 as their project controller and manager. Torrey's past experience as a project engineer for a general contractor made him a perfect fit for this position. Torrey's experience provides a clean handoff from sales to production to ensure every job runs smoothly.
Karen’s passionate artistic approach to concrete stems from her apprenticeship under rock artisan Philip di Giacomo and family history with Colorado Hardscapes. She sits on the Bomanite International Society Advisory Board for Bomanite and the Decorative Concrete Council for the Association of Concrete Contractors.
Vince’s engineering and business experience gives him a technical and detailed approach to our water feature division and overall business operations. As a 3rd generation owner since 2003, his experience with the company has included foreman, technician, and superintendent experience. Calvin Van Heukelem, former CEO, passed over the reigns to his son Vince in 2003.
Jake joined Colorado Hardscapes in 2016 as a project manager. Jake's
attention to detail, knowledge of decorative concrete and energy helps bring a project through all of its various stages.
RIck Boer joined Colorado Hardscapes in 1985. His experience with the company includes his positions of Bomanite division manager, foreman, ACI certified finish, water feature project manager,and now Rick oversees specialty projects for Colorado Hardscapes.
Jerrod Buys joined Colorado Hardscapes in 1994 in the simulated rock division. He left the company for a bit to work alongside Colorado Hardscapes in a family business in custom fabrication and carpentry. In 2005, he re-joined Colorado Hardscapes because of the friendships and working relationships he established over the years. Currently, Jerrod oversees the simulated rock and water feature projects.
Chuck Lau joined Colorado Hardscapes in 2005, bringing with him more than 30 years in the construction industry. He began as a project manager and within a few years accepted the position of sales manager, where he shared some of his construction experience with the first rate sales team. In 2011, Chuck started as superintendent for the premium flooring division. Within this group, a new caulking division was added.
Jeremy began working at Colorado Hardscapes in 1993 as a laborer in the simulated rock division. Shortly after, he was recruited to the Bomanite division where he continued to work as a laborer. After a few years in that position, he moved on to become a formsetter and later a foreman for the flatwork division. Today he manages specialty flatwork projects.
In 1982 Bill began with Colorado Hardscapes and mastered many jobs in the company including many years as a custom foreman. Bill is now the superintendent for specialty decorative concrete projects.
Dan has over 30 years of construction experience with Colorado Hardscapes. He was a foreman for 12 years, a supervisor for four years, and is currently the operations division manager.
