Client Need:
The designers wanted a multi-colored look to the concrete without the expense of multiple concrete pours.
Solution:
CHI upgraded existing concrete areas with Sandscape Texture™ finish and the Patène Artectura® reactive stain system.
Results:
30,000 square feet of concrete paving including uncolored and integrally colored concrete was installed. The colors for the flatwork were chosen to coordinate with the exterior of the building. Sections of driveway, some walkways and curbs as well as the porte cochere are standard uncolored concrete; areas that are colored used integral colors. Stained areas used Auburn and Rust Red reactive stains. The highlighted areas of the pavement were stained in geometric shapes defined by saw cuts.
