Client Need:
An existing gray broom finished post tension slab needed a decorative element to match the stone color on the surrounding buildings and make it a focal point for the apartment community.
Solution:
Bomanite® imprinted concrete could be poured thick enough to be installed over the existing gray slab, and the owners were able to choose the color and pattern they wanted to match the stone buildings and create a stunning pool deck.
Results:
The mixture of Boca Pink with Brick Red color hardeners used on the bands really stand out against the Sand / Coquina color hardener and Fishscale Granite Setts pattern in the fields. The direction of the Fishscale pattern changed between the bands to make the pattern feel like it was always going in the correct direction. For the entrance to the apartments Bomanite® Thin-Set decorates an existing plain gray slab.
