Client Need:
The architect on this project wanted to do something bright and bold to set apart the walls surrounding the stairway. The surface needed to be far more durable than paint to withstand the daily assault of students.
Solution:
Colorado Hardscapes blended a custom bright and bold Aspen Red colored Micro-Top® and used various installation techniques to get a smooth finish over the rounded corners and "windows" in the walls. Micro-Top's concrete durability will ensure the color and surface remain intact without reapplication.
Results:
Over 3,300 sq. ft. of wall surface was covered using Micro-Top. The general contractor on the project poured the walls and made sure the surface was in excellent condition to accept the credit card thin Micro-Top. The Aspen Red color was a custom blended color which matches the red paint color used in various rooms of the school.
