Client Need:
The request to Colorado Hardscapes was to build a concrete base appropriate to the prominent sculpture that was to reside outside the Olympic training facility. The concrete was to be colored and to have a "travertine" texture.
Solution:
Colorado Hardscapes' solution was to use Bomanite Coquina texture mats as form liners for the vertical surfaces and as stamps for the horizontal surfaces. Altogether 70 yards of Charcoal colored concrete was used.
Results:
Both the sculptor and the owner were very pleased with the outcome.
Awards:
2005 Bomanite Corporation Silver Award Best Specialty Project
