Client Need:
A durable floor was needed for this high school along with incorporation of historic symbols, the school logo and other graphics into the floor.
Solution:
This kind of special concrete project is just what Colorado Hardscapes enjoys. An integral color concrete was poured and then stained. The graphics were then sandblasted into the concrete in the desired areas.
Results:
19,000 square feet of smooth trowelled Mesa Buff integrally colored concrete was poured and then v-shaped saw cuts and caulked joints were added. Multiple non-reactive stain colors were used to create banding in the corridor. At alternating intersections of the bands 22 images were sandblasted into the floor.
