Client Need:
The general contractor had a couple of problems to overcome. One: the floor that had been poured was poorly installed and was wavy and dominated by imperfections. Two: the previous experiences this contractor had with stained floors had been disasters. The aesthetic objective was to create a floor with a "leathery" appearance.
Solution:
After "leveling" the floor with repair mortars, Sand colored Micro-Top® was troweled on the surface and four different colors of Con-Color were applied to give the desired look.
Results:
The outcome was a stunning floor that achieved the look of a "leathery" texture, pleased the aesthetics of the design firm, and met the specifications of the general contractor.
Awards:
2003 Bomanite® Corporation Silver Award Best Micro-Top® Project
