Client Need:
Commerce City wanted to give its residents a fun, interactive water splash pad for kids of all ages.
Solution:
Colorado Hardscapes was selected to install the splash pad and all the required mechanical to make it run successfully. Colorado Hardscapes teamed up with CEM, the regional certified Vortex supplier/installer to build the complex splash pad infrastructure. A Sandscape Texture™ concrete deck, featuring imprinted fish and custom stain, was installed to provide a slip-resistant play surface.
Results:
The Pioneer Park splash pad is one of the largest of its kind in the state, and provides hours of amusement to the throngs of kids who visit the park each day. The Vortex interactive water toys and the colorful slip-resistant deck combined create a one-of-a-kind water-play experience.
