CASE STUDY INDEX
Water dancing within a contained rectangular structure, surrounded by patches of prairie farming: Norris Design and the owner, Wiens Capital Group, had this aerial view in mind when they designed the Arista Plaza in Broomfield, CO. To accomplish this, they contracted with Colorado Hardscapes to meticulously design each element of the feature.

The paving around the water feature incorporated a Sandscape Texture finish with multiple colors of Con-color stains, coloring the squares, rectangles, and circles in tones of black, brown, off-white, and aqua to mimic the prairie farming view. The coordinating seating elements added depth and interest to this view.

The inward-sloping walls of the rectangular structure containing the water feature also boast the Sandscape Texture finish. The surprising element comes in the smooth finished black concrete corner pilasters, which contrast nicely with the earth tones in the other parts of this feature.

Water features have a captivating allure that the public enjoys. Most casual observers are unaware of the intricate details and the hours of communication and coordination necessary to make a distinctive and functional piece of art. Colorado Hardscapes prides itself in working closely with owners, designers, and general contractors to do just that. The Arista Water Feature Plaza testifies to this.
