Client Need:
Recent renovations of a luxury home situated in the foothills of Colorado Springs, CO included revamping the exterior living space. The homeowner and the architect called on Colorado Hardscapes when they realized they could use concrete to achieve the look of a more costly Saltillo Tile.
Solution:
Colorado Hardscapes, working closely with the architect and Bomanite tool designers, created an 18” x 18” slate-textured stamp that achieved the desired look.
This stamp, along with the Bomanite English Sidewalk Slate Texture stamp, formed the patterns on the paving of the front entry and the back yard elevated decks and patio/living area. Using three color hardeners (Brick Red, Harvest Amber and Colorado Buff) as the base, the work was finished with Northern Brown and Autumn Brown release agents
Results:
The owner’s high level of attention to detail, the ability of the Colorado Hardscapes’ crew to deliver a very high-end custom finish, and the unique pattern and color combinations all merged to make this a stunning renovation.
