Client Need:
Flatiron Marketplace was designed with upgraded concrete coordinated throughout the entire area to provide continuity and up-scale character. The general contractor needed a concrete contractor with the skills to install the different distinctive looks required, and one who could meet the requirements of a large commercial project.
Solution:
Colorado Hardscapes has concrete craftsmen skilled in doing the decorative finishes and fountain required. Our project managers are experienced in working with general contractors on large commercial projects, and working with and around other sub-contractors.
Results:
CHI took the shopping area to the next level using Harvest Gold and San Diego Buff integrally colored concrete along with hand-tooled and saw-cut joints. Swirl and broom finishes lend a decorative touch to walk ways. Sandblasted borders and sandblasted images stand out along the Zip Bus Route that runs to Flatiron Crossing Mall, and throughout Flatiron Marketplace. Our Custom Rock Division used natural boulders to create a water feature between two retailers in The Fashion District. The boulders were core drilled to allow water to bubble from the tops down over the rock.
