CASE STUDY INDEX
Client Need:
Safeway was looking for a simple yet elegant design for a water feature that would be affordable. They were also pressed for time because they wanted to have it completed by the time of their grand opening.

Solution:
The water feature had a 14' custom made weir to ensure a consistent flow of water across entire face. The water pours into a Black Mexican Beach Cobble, so there is no standing water. Adding to the allure of this up-scaling project, the Safeway logo appears behind the sheet of water. Colored Yosemite Brown Sandscape Texture™ was used in both the area surrounding the water feature and the basin curb wall of the water feature, tying the entire project together nicely.

Results:
Our outstanding crew was able to construct the water feature from the conceptual drawing and they were able to "rush" build it within two weeks for Safeway's grand opening. Since the installation, we have been receiving calls from Safeways and architects across the nation requesting more information on how we accomplished such a beautiful finish. This may be a new trend in up-scaling grocery stores.
