Client Need:
The owners and designer were looking for a flooring to complement the wood book shelves and flooring in the rest of the store. They wanted it to look nice but also have that rustic "tattered" look. Additionally they wanted something that was easy to maintain for the coffee bar with its high traffic, food and drinks.
Solution:
CHI met with the owner and the designer at the Concrete Design Center to go over color options and techniques.
Results:
Reactive stain in a warm Auburn color was chosen. The owners were very happy with the floor because it complements the other décor and because realistic expectations of what to expect with a reactive stain floor were set up from the beginning.
