What is Polished Concrete?
To achieve a polished floor a large machine is used to grind down the surface of the concrete to produce a smooth surface.
- These floors are typically lower maintenance than other premium floors.
- Integrally colored or uncolored concrete floors may be polished.
- Reactive stains can be used with polished floors.
- Inlays such as brass may be embedded in the concrete and polished.
- To help protect your polished floor we recommend that it be sealed. This will help to ensure the quality and life of your floor.
Polished floors are a good choice for high traffic areas where carpet and tile would need to be replaced time after time.
