What is Polished Concrete?
To achieve a polished floor a large machine is used to grind down the surface of the concrete to produce a smooth and reflective surface.
  • These floors are lower maintenance than most flooring options.
  • Integrally colored or uncolored concrete floors may be polished.
  • Stains and dyes can be used with polished floors.
  • Decorative terrazzo-type finishes with decorative aggregates and glass create endless design opportunities.
  • Inlays such as brass may be embedded in the concrete and polished.
Polished floors are a good choice for high traffic areas where carpet and tile would need to be replaced time after time.
