Custom Rock Division At Colorado Hardscapes Continues Impressive Growth
October 27, 2000
Colorado Hardscapes (CHI), one of Colorado’s most renowned and trusted concrete services firms, is pleased to announce that the company’s custom rock division is gaining reknown as one of the state’s most dependable resources for non-traditional concrete applications. As this division of the company continues to grow, Colorado Hardscapes has added Dennis Brookie to its staff to oversee business development for the custom rock and wall division.

Brookie is a licensed landscape architect, and comes to Colorado Hardscapes with more than twelve years of experience working with federal, municipal and private clients. In addition to his varied experience, Brookie also brings innovative design solutions and a positively charged attitude to the company. "If your project includes a custom rock focal feature, CHI can help make it a lasting memory with a whole host of custom rock options. Our concrete synthetic rock can also be manipulated into any imaginable shape, color, or texture, and located exactly where you want it to create a long lasting durable rock formation," said Brookie.

Brookie will also work with clients to develop custom walls with the texture, shapes, color or artwork that each project requires. CHI’s varying palette of wall forms allows placement of walls that appear like a rock wall, where natural stone is not structurally sound. Yet, the viewer cannot distinguish if CHI rock walls are natural rock or shaped, carved and colored concrete that looks like natural rock, with the added structural stability of a concrete retaining wall.
