16th Street Water Feature

In partnership with PCL Construction and Dig Studio, Colorado Hardscapes contributed to the construction of the 16th Street Water Feature. This new downtown Denver landmark is located at 16th Street and Cleveland Street, part of the broader 16th Street revitalization project.

Our scope of work included the installation of four granite columns. Water channels from the column tops and cascades down into trench drains below for recirculation. Underneath the columns, we installed the mechanical vault and cistern system for dependable water circulation and water management.

This project didn’t come without its fair share of challenges. Most notably, coordinating stainless steel pedestals and plumbing with the columns to a 1/16-inch tolerance.

The 16th Street Water Feature project allowed us to apply our precast water feature expertise, delivering a distinctive urban landmark in downtown Denver.
