Clayworks Golden

At Clayworks Golden, a large-scale redevelopment that transformed the former CoorsTek facility into a walkable, mixed-use district at the base of the Rocky Mountains, Colorado Hardscapes partnered with Holder Construction to deliver a wide range of site elements.

Our scope of work included over 1,500 LF of board-formed retaining walls integrated into eight water-quality rain gardens. We also completed extensive flatwork using three distinct finishes: our signature Sandscape® textured concrete, broom finish, and tined concrete. Beyond the flatwork, we constructed more than 250 LF of seatwalls that combined board-formed concrete, Sandscape, and IPE wood cladding, with precise detailing to accommodate lighting components, embeds, and blind fasteners. A custom water feature added the finishing touch to the project.

Clayworks Golden represents a milestone for Colorado Hardscapes, reflecting the growing scale and complexity of our work. Nearly every member of our concrete division, along with many from our aquatics division, contributed to its success—a true demonstration of teamwork across the company.
