We’ve spent the last 20 months at the Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver working with General Contractor, Layton Construction; Architect, Perkins & Will; and Redland Consulting Group. Our scope of work included the main entrance streetscape and several interior areas. This project involved two phases to keep the medical center open at all times.
On the streetscape, our team placed over 50,000 SF of Sandscape over an intricately placed snowmelt system and carefully sealed alternating bands across its surface. Also incorporated into the streetscape, we formed and placed 800 LF of planter walls and 160 LF of seat walls, all of which were gray with a smooth-troweled finish. Moreover, we sought the expertise of Keller North America to install 28 micropile foundations, which Colorado Hardscapes had never done before!
Despite working through the cold winter and the hot summer, the final results at PSL are nothing short of impressive. We are proud of our team for achieving such a challenging feat while keeping our focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. Overall, the end product at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center is a testament to the hard work and consistency of our team.
