For the pool portion of the project, we worked with Aquatic Design Group. We installed precast coping with a bullnose grip in the color Dark Grey with sandblasted and painted depth markers in addition to a Baja shelf and a weir edge water feature. On the other part of the deck, we installed three ADA ramps, a set of steps, and multiple patios. All have a Sandscape finish and are in the colors Sandstone or Pewter. We are currently working on the second deck which will include various planter walls and flatwork in the same colors.
In addition to the amenity decks and pool, we placed grey work, uncolored Sandscape, and Sandscape with an alternating con-color stain to the ground level around the building. All flatwork, curbing, ramps, and steps specified by Landscape Architect, BrightView called for Bomanite methods of installation, making us the perfect candidate for the project. Overall, our team has completed all tasks without any injuries. Thank you to the pool and flatwork crews for all of the work you’ve put into this iconic construction project in downtown Denver.
Did you know the AMLI Broadway Park Apartments are directly next to another project we’ve worked on, the RYE SoBo Apartments? Building plans for this area include many multi-use facilities. Over the next several years, we are confident that we will be a part of those projects, and feel excited to see what opportunities will come of it.
