Colorado Hardscapes partnered with Whiting-Turner and Dig Studio to help bring the National Western Center Plaza to life as part of Denver’s redevelopment of the historic National Western Center. This plaza serves as a main walkway connecting the Legacy Building to the broader campus, creating a welcoming gateway for visitors and the surrounding community.
Our scope of work included:
- Approximately 116,000 SF of decorative concrete paving
- Planter curbs, seat walls, benches, and stage elements
- Finishes: stained concrete, Bomanite Sandscape®, and MicroTop
- Tight, curved sawcuts requiring precise layout and execution
The project ran from March through December 2025 and demanded close coordination with other trades. Thanks to the skill, collaboration, and attention to detail of our crews, the National Western Center Plaza now stands as a high‑quality public space that the Denver community will enjoy for years to come.
