The Sheraton Hotel, located at 15th and Court, adds to our portfolio of beautiful, Downtown Denver projects.
Working with PWI, Confluence, and Chris Sutterfield, we were able to create an amazing entry for all of the hotel’s guests and even those just passing by. Our scope of work includes 9,470 sq. ft. of Sandscape, both colored and uncolored. We also added some Sandscape curbing and truncated domes. Additionally, you’ll notice the decorative sawcuts reflect the pattern in the ceiling.
With this project came some challenges. First, a ballroom area existed below the porte-cochere which required us to install the flatwork on top of foam. Second, in November of 2021, we received the news that the hotel entrance was opening a lot earlier than expected. This meant our crews had to expedite the pours.
Despite these challenges, our employees got it done; even if it meant working 12 hour days. Overall, the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Denver turned out very successful and will be remembered by all who visit.
